HOW TO PLAY

The Jazz Game is for 3 - 5 players.

The Jazz Game is played over 3 sets. The object of the game is for each player to make as much money as possible.

3 players, deal 9 cards each

4 players, deal 8 cards each

5 players, deal 7 cards each

The Jazz Game is a ‘pick-n-pass’ game. Begin each turn by choosing a card from your hand that will be placed down on the table in front of you where all the other players can see it.

On the count of 4, all players simultaneously reveal their chosen card.

After these cards are revealed, players pass the unused cards to their left and the next turn begins. This continues until all cards are played and the set ends. Face up cards remain with the player until the end of the set when they are scored.

After scoring your set, place used cards in a discard pile…these used cards shouldn’t be used again until a new game is started.

Deal the next set using fresh cards and repeat until 3 x sets have been played and scored.

Any ‘The Hang’ cards remain with the player for the entire game.

After the 3rd set is scored, ‘the hang’ score is added to each players total.

The player with the most money wins.

In the case of a tie, whoever ‘HANGS’ the best, by holding the most Hang cards, wins!
